Dive Planet Mafia Island
We are happy to announce a new partnership with the recently opened in 2022, Dive Planet Dive Base in Utende in The Marine National Park in Mafia.
Dive Planet is the perfect synergy between Deus the local experienced Diving Instructor and his fiancé Gianna from Switzerland.
Deus, who is operating the whole divecenter, and his team of experienced local instructors and guides know all the Dive Sites in Chole Bay and on the outer reef as well as the longer established Dive Bases and Gianna who speaks German, English and French, manages the office and customer service.
The Dive base, located on the main road as you start to descend the small hill in Utende is only 3 mins walk from the Ocean where their twin outboard boat is moored.
The Dive base boasts the only swimming pool on the Island deep enough to instruct in and also has two newly built bungalows sleeping up to 3 guests per bungalow. With a fine local kitchen offering freshly caught sea food, fresh fruit and vegetables we recommend booking either half board or full board stays at Dive Planet.
The dive groups are small but Dive Planet will also accept divers staying in other hotels by prior arrangement.
